In principle, you could, but you shouldn’t.  In order for the OctalWheels, Cross Slope Control and Flutter Control to attach to your wheelchair, they will need custom brackets and skilled mechanical operations. With the complete chair supplied by us, we all know that it’s going to be just right – otherwise, we don’t.

Octal wheels are a little wider and heavier than standard wheels. So this chair won’t be as slick around the house.

Secondly, although it only takes a minute to swap the wheels so that you can go outside, any burden associated with going outside means you’re less likely to get your exercise.

People find that the best solution is to have your outdoor chair just waiting at the door, ready to leap forward.
